Zoo Day!!
What better place to make a field trip to than the backyard? We toured the Fresno Chaffee Zoo with the girls, and we even went behind the scenes to learn from one of the zoo’s veterinarians, the equipment powering the stingray bay, and the elephant barn.
The girls even had the opportunity to see sloths and monkeys up-close….
Feed and pet stingrays….
And feed the giraffes!
We spent a majority of the day at the zoo, but that does not mean the day was over. The girls began working on their rockets, in which they are limited to a certain amount of ‘funds’ (we incorporated some financial lessons and roles for these types of projects as well). T-minus 1 day!
We trekked to the pool on campus to beat the heat with swimming, volleyball, and games. We even made ice cream!
It is hard to believe we only have two days left together.
