And the fun begins!
We had a grand opening today! Our 94 girls met their dorm moms and roommates after checking in and finding their rooms. We then discussed the week with parents and girls in a classroom on campus.
Here, the teachers, dorm moms, and counselors introduced themselves to everyone. 
After saying farewells to families, we dove into the fun!
We gathered in the lobby and went over the schedule and rules. 
Throughout the rest of the day, everyone learned more about each other through ice breakers and participated in team-building activities, which included the task of filling a bucket with a dixie cup while lying down.
After our first dinner together in the dining hall, we returned to the dorms to create the super, amazing, and creative dorm team names with posters.
It’s only day one, and we are well on our way to a fantastic week!
